Thunderbird is an open source program that is available as a free download, it is used primarily as an email client but can also be used to stream and read news and as a chat client. Thunderbird is based on the Firefox program, which is the third most widely used web browse in the world, followed by Google Chrome and Microsoft Internet Explorer.
